Rexburg City Parks
Residents and visitors alike benefit from Rexburg's outstanding park system. The system consists of 9 parks covering multiple acres of parkland. This diverse mix of neighborhood parks, community parks, sports facilities, and other parks provides a wide range of activities. Rexburg is constantly looking to expand its park offerings and has ways for you to get involved. Contact the City Recreation Department to see how you can help today.
Maintenance of parks, landscape right-of-way, and City building grounds is overseen by the Rexburg Park Department. For problems, concerns, or information contact the Parks Department. For non-emergency concerns, you can also submit a non-emergency report form.
Parks are open from sunrise to 10 pm.
All Rexburg City parks are winterized [bathrooms are closed and locked] when the weather starts to freeze at night. They will not be reopened until spring when the danger of freezing is past.
***Please note the dogs must remain leashed and on sidewalks/pathways in all public parks at all times except the dog parks. It is the owner's responsibility to clean up after their pets. For more information including ordinance links, please visit our Dog Parks page.
Report a Concern: If you notice something wrong with the equipment or otherwise at one of our City Parks (or elsewhere in the City), please let us know so we can send it to our park maintenance crews! Fill out the form below to submit your concern.

Rexburg Parks Centennial
In 2029 it will be 100 years since Porter Park, the first municipal park, was established. In the succeeding years, the city has added 9 parks and over 86 acres of parkland. Parks have become a place where residents gather to relax, play, and celebrate. Everyone has a park memory. As Rexburg continues to grow, the City wants to maintain and build new parks so that future generations can enjoy and make memories in these parks.
Please visit the Park Centennial page for more information.
