Porter Park is Rexburg’s oldest municipal park, established in 1919. It's central location and large open spaces make Porter Park the ideal gathering place for the university, the community, and large festivals and events. The park is home to the Idaho Centennial Carousel, the Rexburg Splash Pad, and the Beehive Pavilion sponsored by the Beehive Federal Credit Union. All three are highly popular summer activities in Rexburg! The park has a large open grass area, tennis courts, a tree-covered lawn, walking paths, picnic shelters, and a children's playground.

Location: 2nd W to 3rd W and 1st S to 2nd S

Features: Performance Stage, Splash Park, Carousel, kid’s playground, tennis courts, basketball court, walking path, and 2 shelters.  The South Shelter is the biggest shelter in the city with 17 tables.  The North Shelter has 8 tables. The Splash Park is free and open every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 10:00am-9:00pm.
