We’re so glad you’ve chosen Rexburg to be the place you call home. I truly believe Rexburg is a special place. There are so many opportunities for you here. Aside from our great businesses and people, the City has a great number of offerings too.
Our Cultural Arts Department is busy setting up art classes for our community and putting on shows, concerts, performances, and presentations for you to enjoy. We invite you to check out their catalog of events and happenings on their website. I must give a special nod to their “Extended Play Cinema” events. Boy, they really go all out for these. They play one feature film and host a series of games and activities based on that film.
Looking for something to do indoors? The Museum of Rexburg and the Legacy Flight Museum both offer outstanding opportunities to explore days gone by. You can learn all about the Teton Dam Flood of 1976 and see and learn all about working military aircraft up close and personal!
It’s not just the Cultural Arts that we have to get excited about, the Recreation Department has a great lineup of seasonal events and activities too! Softball and Pickleball (a very popular sport here in Rexburg), Cornhole tournaments, and more! You can explore what they offer and sign up for programs at rexburg.org/rec.
The wintertime brings a whole series of offerings, particularly our Winter Park! Sledding and cross-country ski trails right here in Rexburg with budget-friendly affordable gear rentals! Don’t miss it!
In the summer, Rexburg has a fantastic waterpark, Rexburg Rapids, that everyone is sure to enjoy. Our multitude of parks also offers great features for kids of all ages, including a Carousel and splash pad at Porter Park!
Rexburg is the 4th fastest growing micropolitan city in the country! With all this growth, it's our job at the City to stay on top of things and ensure a healthy and safe community for all. With all of these great things going on around the City, it’s hard to know how to stay informed. Well, social media offers a great solution for that.
