Throughout Flood 50, these three ideas will guide exhibits, films, races, service projects, tours, celebrations, and community gatherings across the region. And we will honor the resilience that endured long after the waters receded.

In honor of Memorial Day, City Hall and our affiliated offices will be closed on Monday, May 25th. Emergency services will remain in operation as usual.

Trash pickup normally scheduled for Monday, the 25th, will be picked up on Tuesday, the 26th.

Tomorrow, we're looking for volunteers to help us beautify Rexburg!
Each year, we invite our community to help us plant flowers on Main Street. We call it Flow-Bor Day.
Volunteers will get a t-shirt with this design! Shout out to the Mayor's Youth Advisory Group, who helps coordinate the event!

Plants are provided. We suggest bringing garden gloves and a trowel.
Meet the Mayor & planting crew in front of City Hall at 4 pm tomorrow, May 21st.

The results of the Police Station Bond election are now final. The bond measure did not pass. We truly appreciate the residents who took time to engage with us – whether by asking questions, attending town halls, touring the current facility, reviewing shared information, or voting. Community engagement and feedback are, and will always be, an important part of how Rexburg plans for the future. While the bond was not approved, the facility challenges that led to the proposal remain. Moving forward, City officials and the Rexburg Police Department will take time to evaluate options and consider the best path forward. As those conversations continue, we remain committed to providing education, facts, and updates across our official channels. Thank you, sincerely, to everyone who participated in the process.

Election Day is approaching fast! The final Town Hall regarding the Rexburg Police Station Bond is tomorrow afternoon, Saturday, May 9th, from 4-5 pm at Rexburg's Council Chambers (inside City Hall). Come ask questions and hear directly from our leadership and staff about the ballot measure.

The final Open House, giving you a chance to tour the current station, will be Tuesday, May 12th, from 4-6 pm.

We heard residents' concerns over the cost of the bond. By reducing the project scope, we lowered the estimated property tax impact. The May bond proposal has a $3,285,138 lower cost than the November bond proposal. By making changes to the bond plan, voters can consider a proposal that better addresses residents' concerns.

Rexburg is a place where families can grow, and we at the City work to support that in the services we provide our community, from public safety to infrastructure to recreation opportunities.

A police facility is a long-term investment in community safety. The proposed station is designed to meet current needs and plan for future growth as Rexburg continues to evolve.

As we head into a busy spring and summer season, we’re looking forward to more opportunities to gather, like the annual Carousel Summer Kickoff each May.
