Registration Policy

  1. Parent or guardian must register all participants under the age of 18.

  2. All fees must be paid at time of registration.

  3. Registration is available

-Online at Rexburg.org/rec (There is a computer at City Hall available for those who do not have access to Internet)
-Over the phone with the Recreation Department (208.372.2560)
-In person at City Hall either at the front desk or in the Recreation Department

Non-Resident Fee

The Rexburg Parks and Recreation Department is funded by city tax dollars. A $10 fee is assessed to non-resident participants to offset the cost to city tax payers.

Late Registration

A $10 fee will be assessed for all late registrations. Late registration for non-team activities will vary by activity start date. Late registration for team sports will also be accepted, however, when teams are established, individuals who register late will be placed on a waiting list and added to rosters based on availability.

Recreation Refund Policy

Full refunds are only issued to participants if the program does not run due to decision from the Rexburg Recreation Department. Standard refunds are only given if an individual decides not to participate after registering for a certain program. There is a $5 administrative fee deducted from the refund amount. An additional $10 fee will be deducted from the refund amount if T-Shirts had already been ordered. Refunds may be offered at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the program.

Photos & Video

The Recreation Department reserves the right to take photos and videos of individuals participating in team sports and programs. The department may use the photos in upcoming recreation guides or promotional advertising without paying compensation to any individual or entity for the likeness, image, name, and/ or signature of any adult or their child in photographic or other works appearing in any and all media (presently known)

Scholarship Policy

The Recreation Department will grant scholarships to financially burdened applicants up until the scholarship budget has been depleted of funds. The scholarship will provide a 50% discount on any youth sports recreation programs provided by the City of Rexburg Recreation Department. Only one application will be granted per family.

if multiple children are listed on the application and a child cannot use an additional discount intended for a sibling. Applications will not be accepted more than once a year. Applications will be reviewed by the Recreation Department Director and the City of Rexburg Mayor. The applicant will be notified within two weeks on the status of the application.
