Luminosity: the Robinson Family Lightshow

The Robinson Family Light Show has become a cherished tradition in our community. Last year, the City of Rexburg was thrilled to invite this dazzling display to our most cherished building: the Tabernacle Civic Center. While the Tabernacle's renovations have officially begun, the building is no longer an option for this fabulous display.
The holiday planning team at the city and the Robinson family put their heads together to design an innovative new show in a new location that can draw members of our community and the surrounding areas to create an unforgettable experience. We are pleased to invite you to:
Luminosity: the Robinson Family Light Show at Porter Park
This dynamic light show features a wide range of colors synchronized to lively music and sound effects that are sure to amaze. As you travel through the light tunnel, be transported magical showcase with 360° lights gleaming from every direction. Luminosity is guaranteed to have you returning to Porter Park on multiple occasions throughout the season. Luckily, this isn't a one-night-only experience! Shows run Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6-9 pm through New Year's Day; November 30, 2024, until January 1, 2025.
Shows are 15 minutes long with a 10-minute break between programs. There are plans for different displays each night. Visit the Robinson Family Lights on Facebook for more detailed information about their nightly program schedule - because not all shows will be the same!
Special Notes for Access:
This show can only be accessed on foot.
Visitors are advised to park at Porter Park or Hemming Village to view the show.
Be advised that there is no parking on N 2nd W. Please do NOT stop or park your vehicle here to view the show.
Parking on W 2nd S (the south end of Porter Park) may be limited if vendors/food trucks are present.
Please dress appropriately for the weather! Jackets are highly encouraged!
Lawn chairs and blankets for comfortable viewing are acceptable!
Dancing is highly encouraged and even appreciated! We love to see the joy the show brings to you and yours!
Be advised that the Police and the Fire department retain access in the event of an emergency and clearance must be given at all times.
It is imperative to follow the guidelines of our gracious volunteers to ensure the safety of all.
