Home to Brigham Young University of Idaho, Rexburg has a vibrant, cultural scene filled with music, dance, activities, and community gatherings. Rexburg is home to many parks and family activity centers that make it wonderful for all ages. The City has both a Cultural Arts and a Recreation Department to fulfill the needs of our community members and we are always looking for input on ways to expand and grow our offerings to best fit the current climate and needs of our hometown.
The City also runs the Legacy Flight Museum - where you can see up-close historical and currently operational aircraft from the 20th century, Rexburg Rapids - where you can slide, swim, and splash to your heart's content, Idaho Centennial Carousel - the oldest running carousel in the state of Idaho, and a plethora of Parks for our community's recreational needs.
We are surrounded by world-class outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and trails. Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, and more are all just a short drive away. With Sun Valley to the west and Jackson Hole, Wyoming to the east, Rexburg is the natural starting point for an Eastern Idaho Adventure.
