The Community Affairs Department oversees the communications and arts programs for the City of Rexburg. Additionally, special events and projects will be managed by this position to maximize public goodwill and input from our citizens.

We assist other staff services in support of public information programs and functions. Through effective public relations with media representatives and the public we strive to keep the public informed of city happenings.

We work to develop grants for new funds to benefit the Rexburg Arts Council and the Rexburg Historic Tabernacle and Westwood (Romance) Theatre We also work to provide professional events and entertainment through Rexburg Arts Council.

This department also assists with all city sponsored community events, including the Teton Dam Marathon, RUSH Triathlon, SnowFest and other events.
